How to setup your account?


In this guide, we will walk you through starting and setting up your new account for Devinstock. We've made sure that this process is easy and simple to follow. If you run into any issues, feel free to reach out to our support team for help.

  • Before we get started, please make sure you're logged in to your Devinstock account.
  • If you haven't done yet, make sure to create a trial account (14 days).

Create your Devinstock account!

You have the option to create a new account on the product page. To begin, please navigate to the following URL: https://devinstock.com

Register a new account
  • Click on "Register Account".
  • Provide your full name.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Include your phone number.
  • Describe your organization.
  • Specify your default currency.
  • Enter the unique URL for the account.

  • Once done, you'll be asked to validate your email, please do so by entering the one-time-password (OTP).

  • Validate it, and setup your account password.
  • Wait for your server to launch !

Set up your Account

Once, you account is ready, you will be able to login to start your account setup.


  1. Proceed to your workspace settings and select account preferences.

  • Add/Edit the logo and the name of your workspace.

  1. Initiate the process of naming documents

Devinstock enables you to select a custom naming convention that aligns with your business needs. When a document is created, a unique reference is automatically generated according to the chosen naming convention.

Users have the ability to establish naming conventions for various entities including accounts (customers, suppliers, leads), products, invoices, transactions, cheque deposits, purchase receipts, purchase invoices, quotations, purchase orders, sale orders, delivery receipts, and other related business items.


For instance:

  • Product Reference: PR-2024-001 (Prefix-Year-XXX)
  • Invoice Reference: INV-2402-01 (Prefix-YYMM-XX)
  • Transaction Reference: TR-2404-10 (Prefix-YYMM-XX)

To customize the default naming convention, click on "Document Naming" and commence the customization process. You have the option to include your root for each document, add separators, dates, and specify the increment size.
