Import new accounts

Devinstock simplifies the process of importing new accounts from your existing database. You can navigate to CRM/Contacts and click on the 'Import' button. If you have a curated Excel or CSV file containing your contacts, you'll be able to import up to 2000 accounts per operation based on your plan. The required data includes the account name and reference, and you can optionally add email, phone number, address, country of origin, and business sector (Industry). Simply click on 'Import' to initiate the process.

Importing accounts or leads from various sources into Devinstock, and consolidating the database, will enabling more efficient tracking, follow-up, and conversion processes. This feature empowers our sales and marketing teams to effectively nurture leads, identify potential opportunities, and ultimately drive business growth.

Migrate your accounts into Devinstock

If you want to migrate your list of accounts from an existing system into Devinstock, the process is straightforward. You can follow these steps

Export your list of accounts from your existing system into a CSV or Excel file.
Review the exported file to ensure it contains all necessary fields such as account name, reference, email, phone number, address, country of origin, and any other relevant information.

Import your accounts into Devinstock

Navigate to the CRM/Contacts section in Devinstock and click on the "Import" button. then choose file (csv or excel),

Let's demonstrate how to import some of our existing accounts. You should have already prepared the CSV file. Now, navigate to the location of the CSV file on your desktop and select it.

Once selected, follow the prompts to map the fields from your CSV file to the corresponding fields in Devinstock.

If you don't have a well-structured document, you can manually map the fields by using the drag-and-drop method.

Click on "Confirm" to begin validating your data. Before saving, ensure that your data is cleaned. Let's identify and address any issues. One common issue is with phone number formats that are incorrect.

Let's correct the phone numbers data and then save the changes again

Once we save, our data will be populated. Let's navigate to the accounts index to verify that the import was added.

We have successfully completed the import process, of our existing accounts data into Devinstock. all information is accurately mapped and validated before finalizing the import.
